Accessing MyEducation BC (Note Not accessible between Aug 8 to Sept 4)

Please note the MyEducation Family portal is one login shared by students and their parent/guardians/caregivers.

How to resolve issues with a disabled MyEducation BC account or resetting a Password
Do not search the internet for the login page, use this link: https://myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen-login/?deploymentId=aspen
Search results may return the MyEducation BC testing site, or non-functional links which you will not be able to log into

MyEd accounts are often disabled when a user has entered an incorrect password too many times.  If you receive an error message ("Error Message: This account has been disabled") when attempting to login to MyEd or forgot your password and need to reset it, follow the following steps:

  1. Click on the "Trouble logging in?" link
  2. Click either Reset your password link OR Retrieve your LoginID
      • Reset your password = Enter your MyEd Login ID (your student number)
      • Click "Recover Password" 
        Note: After clicking "Recover," you will receive your temporary password via email. Go back to MyEd BC login screen enter your temporary password Enter the temporary password that you received via email

Returning Students
Accounts for existing users will be reactivated by end of day Friday, September 4.  Returning students are able to logon to MyEd BC using their previous password.  
Grade 8 families and new students 
If you have never logged in:

User ID: student number
Temporary Password: Dist$2027
You will be prompted to create a new password.  Ensure that you add an email address so you can access the password reset feature in the future.

How to access your student’s report card on the MyEducation BC Family Portal 
Please follow the instructions below to locate your child’s report: 

1. Go to the MyEd Website HERE 

2. Type in the student number as the login ID 

3. The password is the one that you and your student have already been using

4. You will find the report card under “Published Reports” on the right-hand side

Please note: reports are only available for two weeks, so please download/print a copy for your records.
