Stream of Dreams Mural Project

fish 1

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated students, supportive teachers and incredible parent volunteers and PAC for their enthusiastic participation in the Stream of Dreams program. Your collective efforts have resulted in a stunning mural that beautifully captures our community's spirit and creativity. This project wouldn't have been possible without your hard work, passion, and collaboration. Thank you for turning this dream into a reality and for everyone’s significant contribution to this memorable and impactful initiative. A special thanks to Ms. Kudryk for leading this project.

This eco-education initiative taught our students about their local watershed, streams, rivers, and the ocean. By promoting behavioural change to conserve and protect water, it empowers our students to make positive environmental impacts by creating a community art legacy. Some of the learning that students engaged in are as follows:

Where is your local stream?

Where does the water in the stream come from?

How do storm drains work?

Where do your household drains lead?

Where does your drinking water come from?

What can we do to protect salmon and water?

What is the life cycle of the Pacific salmon? (West Coast only)
