Student Supports
The information below is intended to assist students with identifying and accessing supports during their training program and/or apprenticeship.
Student Learning Supports at post-secondary institutions
Students enrolled in a Youth TRAIN in Trades or Dual-Credit program may be entitled to learning supports available at their post-secondary institution. Please visit the sites below to learn more about what is available, how to access supports, and when to start building a Individual Accommodation Plan (IAP).
Most institutions require 4 to 8 weeks of advanced notice to start building an IAP. It is important to take action on this well before the start of a training program.
