Reports are published 3 times each semester. The interim provides comments on a learning standard where students are showing a strength, an area of growth, and the next steps (often tied to the learning standard where the student can grow). The Mid-semester and Final reports will contain a proficiency scale indicator (EMG, DEV, PRF, EXT) for Grades 8 and 9 and a percentage % for students in Grades 10 to 12. All students will receive a strength-based comment that describes their progress in relation to the learning standards.

Students in full-year courses will be assessed on the first-semester Mid-Year report, the first-semester Final report, and the second-semester Final report. 

All reports will be published and are accessible on the MyEdBC website. Emails will be sent home as a reminder on the days the reports are published. Please remember to download the reports and save them onto your computer. The table below shows this year’s publishing dates.

Additionally, students are required to complete 3 self-reflections of core competencies:

• mid-semester 1 report
• mid-semester 2 report
• final report

To view your child's core competency self-reflection, please have your child show you their uploaded reflection which can be found as an assignment in their grade-wide MS TEAM.
