Community Schools Teams are an initiative of the Vancouver School district to provide accessible programming that directly supports students who face barriers to participation.  

Community School Coordinators (CSCs) facilitate and collaborate with local community agencies and district organizations to create partnerships for the provision of programs and services in a Family of Schools. The Killarney CSC works with the following schools: Champlain Annex, Champlain Elementary, Cook Elementary, MacCorkindale Elementary, Waverley Elementary, Weir Elementary, and Killarney Secondary.  

Killarney Secondary students can find current opportunities on TEAMS in the “All students@Killarney Secondary” group or drop by room A212.  

In addition, we have a Youth & Family Worker (YFW) who works out of room A212 at Killarney two days of the week (Mondays and Tuesdays). YFWs support the social and emotional needs of students and can help students and families directly, as well as make connections with the school, school community, and outside agencies.
